HAPPY KING DAY {REMEMBER THE DREAM}

Remembering the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Here is a video that someone shared on FB today. I thought it was so powerful,
a message that I'd never heard from Dr. King.

MY MOTHER'S PASSING

On November 30, 2011, my mother went home to be with the Lord. I'm giving myself some time to grieve and reflect before coming back to work. I'm closing out the year remembering her and taking everything in. Although this is a difficult time for me, I am comforted in knowing that my mom is a child of God and is resting peacefully in the arms of our Savior. God willing, I will be returning after the new year. Thank you to everyone who has sent condolences during her passing. It is greatly appreciated.

FINAL DESIGN REQUEST:
Years ago, before my mother's passing, she told me that when the time came, she wanted me to design her program. At the time, I didn't want to think about something like that and said that I didn't know if I'd be in the frame of mind to do it. She simply said, "You will." And I was. I cried and designed at the same time but considered it an honor to fill my mom's final design request. See below.
