DESIGNS OF THE DAY

Hello and Happy Friday to you :-) I love the celebration of church anniversaries. It's a time for reflection, fun, praise, and thanksgiving. Below are the designs of the day, a flyer I designed for Pine Hills Community Church's 24th Anniversary, as well as the matching cover I designed for their souvenir booklets. The theme is so appropriate, even for this year. We should all be moving forward into the wonderful things God has for us. God Bless and have a wonderful weekend.

Is your church celebrating its anniversary or special occasion? I'm ready to design something wonderfully made just for you. To make a design request, contact me at wonderfullymadedesign@yahoo.com.

A "PRETTY POWERFUL" DESIGN

Below is one of the recent designs I created for Tangie Henry (also known as Inspired Sistah). The logo was used for her workshop series called Pretty Power.

WELCOME TO THE BLOG

I've dubbed 2011 my "Don't talk about it, be about it" year. That means exactly what it implies: Don't talk anymore about what I want to do, do it. Put action behind the pursuit of my dreams, stop making excuses, stop looking at others fulfill their dreams and focus on fulfilling my own.

I also hold this sentiment: What's the point of having a dream if all you do is have it?

Welcome to the Wonderfully Made Graphic Designs blog. This is just the beginning of the fulfillment of one of my dreams (goals) for the new year. At the end of 2010, I was really encouraged by a dear sister in Christ to not just design but to use my business as a tool to minister and share the goodness of God (thank you Shenina!)

The name of my business and the blog are inspired by Psalm 139:14, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." When God made us, He took His time, knew exactly what He had in mind for our "design", and when He was done He was totally satisfied with His creation.

That is the approach to my design style. I want to give you my best, using the gift that God has given me to the best of my ability and when all is complete, you are satisfied with the end result.

Again, welcome to the WMGD blog. I look forward to creating a wonderfully made design just for you.

Blessings,
Audrey
