DESIGNS FIT FOR A KING

I had the wonderful opportunity to also design flyers for Mr. Jones High candidate, Duaron Williams. He's on the mighty Tiger football team, so I used that as inspiration for the flyer's design. I created the Four-square flyers for him to hand out individually and they went over very well. See the flyers below. Oh, did I mention? HE WON!!

DESIGNS FIT FOR A QUEEN {PART 3}

I love, what I call, the "Four-square Flyers". Not only are they a great complement to the original design, but it's very cost effective, as you can get more for your money. For example: Fifty copies of the Four-squares would make 200 flyers. For a week-long campaign, and in need of flyers everyday, the Four-squares are a huge help. Below are the Four-square's I create for Javonni's campaign.

DESIGNS FIT FOR A QUEEN {PART 2}

Below are the original designs for each of Javonni's campaign flyers, which were used as posters and individual flyers to hand out.

DESIGNS FIT FOR A QUEEN

I had the wonderful opportunity to design the campaign materials for my niece's recent run for the queen of her school, Miss Jones High. It was a great week! Of course, I love to see my designs in action, so below are images from her campaign week. Oh, did I mention? SHE WON!!!!

DAY 3: RETHINKING THE NAME OF MY BLOG

Honestly, I have been rethinking the name of my blog but for now I'm happy with Wonderfully Made Graphic Designs. Here is a snippet of the first WMGD blog post that explains the name:

The name of my business and the blog are inspired by Psalm 139:14, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." When God made us, He took His time, knew exactly what He had in mind for our "design", and when He was done He was totally satisfied with His creation.

That is the approach to my design style. I want to give you my best, using the gift that God has given me to the best of my ability and when all is complete, you are satisfied with the end result.

DAY 2: REFINING MY BLOG'S NICHE

Four questions to ask yourself as you refine (or redefine) your niche

What am I passionate enough about that I could write about it frequently? (passion) - There are quite a few things but I like to give my clients (readers) background/details about the particular design I've created. I would also like to start being more informative about designing in general (i.e. Sharing the importance of branding your business with a logo, what your invitations "say" about your wedding day)

What am I an expert (or want to become an expert) on? (expertise) - I would like to become an expert in blog design.

Who would find this topic useful or interesting? (audience, market)- Anyone looking for a new or updated design for their blog.

What do I want to become known for through my blog ? (reputation/brand) - Being knowledgeable of what I do, professionalism, and branding

DAY 1: ANALYZING MY BLOG'S BASELINE

Be back. Trying to play catch up.

ACCEPTING THE CHALLENGE: 21 DAYS TO A BETTER BUSINESS BLOG

Just when I thought I'd exhausted any ideas of how to stay consistent with blogging over here, I see the 21 Days to a Better Business blog challenge. I just heard about it and am a couple days behind so I'm going to be playing a little catch up. In any case, for the next 21 (minus 2) days my posts will be geared toward the challenge.
